Reviews
There was plenty of mystery to keep my sleuthing heart happy and food to keep my hungry stomach grumbling...This is a series that cozy readers can really engage with and feel devoted to from the start.
~Bibliophile Reviews
The author does a good job of giving you just enough clues to make you think you know what happened but then here comes another twist.
~A. Holland Reads
The mystery is well plotted with exactly the right number of suspects and a few twists thrown in just when I thought I had things figured out.
~The Power of Words
...the characters are introduced and the story is written well so that a new reader to the series is charmed along the way and becomes a fan.
~My Reading Journeys
Wow! This was a really suspenseful read.
~Bookworm Cafe
Aside from the memorable characters and the fun location, A ROOM WITH A BREW provides a well-plotted mystery with plenty of intrigue and suspects to keep the reader turning pages. Several subplots are woven into the story, adding to the enjoyment of this well-crafted tale!
~Cinnamon, Sugar, and a Little Bit of Murder
This is a book set around Oktoberfest, which really helped put me in the fall spirit. I love reading cozies around the season they are set in and the fact that lined up here for me really did enhance the reading experience.
~A Cozy Experience
Joyce Tremel has created a wonderful community of friends and in this book, a series of complicated twists and turns that read like a beloved black and white noir film. OOMPAH!
~Laura's Interests
I'd say Joyce Tremel crafts her stories as carefully as Max O'Hara crafts her beers! The color (of the beer and the historical city) look really good. The balance (of the taste of the beer and the elements of the story) is wonderful and Max shares her beer like Joyce shares her story - with everybody! And that's very good news for us!
~Back Porchervations
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite cozy mystery series. It has a wonderful, quirky cast with the perfect setting.
~Socrates' Book Reviews...
I thought the writing was superb and the plot was well thought out. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters, you could tell that they cared about each other.
