MARRED BY THE HAND OF MAN

When martial arts instructor and ex-cop Summer Evans discovers the body of a casino developer on the battlefield at Gettysburg, she worries about the consequences to her best friend, an outspoken anti-development activist. When he is arrested for the murder, Summer's search for the killer reveals a Confederate burial pit, a stolen journal from 1863, a hot FBI agent with an agenda, and a killer who won't hesitate to murder again--and does, with devastating consequences.

UNTITLED WIP

Irma Jean Bennett, secretary for the tiny Spite, West Virginia Police Department  knows it's going to be a bad day when the Chief drops dead in her office. When the coroner/funeral director reveals the Chief was poisoned, the mayor orders the officer in charge (who happens to be Irma Jean's ex-husband) to keep it quiet. Not one to be told what to do, Irma Jean decides to investigate on her own. Her efforts are hindered by her pink Cadillac-driving-mother, her ex-husband who wants her back, and the hunky newcomer with more than a few secrets who is renovating the downtown hotel. What she discovers is that the Chief had secrets of his own and someone is desperate to keep them that way.
